The London stock brick is a handmade brick which was used for the majority of building work in London. Made from London clay, bricks fashioned from this clay are characterised by a yellowish brown hue. However, adding a few hundred years of city pollution now means the standard London Stock has weathered to a colouring characterised by browns, yellows, blacks and greys.
